Introduction

The Wreyford Nguni Stud boasts excellent quality Nguni animals. The original herd originated from the Coze Nguni Stud, painstakingly improved over more than 20 years by Dr NT Coetzee. We attempt to uphold the high standards and quality of the herd, and where possible improve the herd. We are currently members of the Nguni Cattle Breeders Society, South African Stud Book and Livestock Improvement Association and the Northern Nguni Club.

Our herd is registered with the ARC - Animal Improvement Institute. We currently have 6 bulls that have completed the Phase D2 testing at the Towoomba Veld Bull Club, and 6 bulls currently undergoing testing.

The six bulls that underwent Phase D2 testing 2003 - 2004 at Towoomba, are available for sale on the farm as from first week in January 2005.

NI 02 588 was ranked Nr1 out of 21 animals.
AW 02 05 ranked Nr3 out of 21 animals.
